The Rocketeer and Jonny Quest was drawn with Sharpie Markers, Sakura Pigma Sensei pens, Copic Pens and Copic Markers on Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Board. Drawn in 2014.
This was done as a commission. I was originally not going to do this in color but after the inking was done I really thought that it needed to be colored so I went with it and I think it came out pretty good. I probably would change a few things but overall I think it works pretty good and the person it's for likes it. I had a lot of trouble with making things look right and so I kind of went with the slightly off look the hardest thing was Jonny Quest's face he looks like an older version and a bit angry but still has that big hair.
Anyway this was fun.

Very well done. Good choice having them both in jet packs, similar pose as tho Jonny is emulating an I older version of himself. Smart choice having them face in the same direction. Like the gold chosen. Happy to contribute to your new blog.
